Need more information on Penn State’s CITI Program?
PSU Online Courses through CITI Program
Logging in for the first time?
Access CITI through the appropriate site above. You will be taken to a screen that gives the option of creating a new account or affiliating with Penn State. If you already have a CITI account (including one from another institution), choose the option “I already have a CITI Program account.” If you have not registered with CITI before, choose the option to create an account.
Don’t see your training?
If your account information and previous completion report(s) are not visible when you log in with your Penn State credentials, you likely have a second CITI Program account. Please visit CITI Program’s Support Center to merge your accounts into a single account using your Penn State credentials. If you have additional questions about merging accounts, contact the Office for Research Protections.
Note: You may need to register for a Penn State course in order to see your previously completed modules. See our website for more information.
Not from Penn State?
CITI training is available to non-Penn State individuals if they have an affiliation with our institution. Penn State limited accounts can access CITI through the log-in buttons above using the credential information provided by Penn State. Create a limited account online. (Note: PSU limited accounts can take up to an hour to fully create. If you encounter a CITI login error indicating ‘incomplete identify data,’ please wait a bit longer. If you encounter issues after an hour, contact the Office of Research Information Systems.)
Even if your Penn State limited account does not include e-mail, still enter your Penn State user ID followed by @psu.edu (e.g., abc123@psu.edu) on the login screen.
